On 13 November 2026, Erasmus University Rotterdam (in cooperation with Housing Lab) will organize a one-day academic workshop on housing policy and housing finance.
Both junior and senior researchers in economics and finance are warmly invited to submit a paper. The workshop welcomes contributions on housing markets, real estate, housing policy, urban and regional issues, and housing finance. Full papers are preferred over extended abstracts.
The keynote lecture will be delivered by Stijn Van Nieuwerburgh (Columbia Business School).
Papers should be submitted by 4 September 2026 to korevaar@ese.eur.nl. Receipt of all submissions will be acknowledged, and authors can expect to receive a decision by mid-September 2026.
There is no conference fee. Lunch and dinner will be provided for all participants.
The workshop is organized by Matthijs Korevaar (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Hans Koster (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), in collaboration with the Housing Lab.
