The full programme and location details will be announced later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of this seminar is to stimulate discussion and generate practical insights that contribute to the availability, affordability, and sustainability of housing in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prizes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A jury of academics and policymakers will assess submissions on quality, novelty, and policy relevance:<br>\u2022 Winner: \u20ac2,500<br>\u2022 Runner-up: \u20ac1,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Possible topics<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Effects of rent regulation on housing availability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Policy changes and housing production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Subsidies and their impact on new construction and sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effectiveness of measures to accelerate building and green investments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Guidelines<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Summary: max. 300 words<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full paper (in Dutch or English), APA style<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both new and recently published articles (2024\/2025) are welcome.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deadline: Please submit your contribution by <strong>25 October 2025<\/strong> via email to <strong><a href=\"mailto:e.g.woudstra@vu.nl\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"e.g.woudstra@vu.nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ellen Woudstra<\/a>. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*<a href=\"http:\/\/www.finance-ideas.nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Finance Ideas<\/strong><\/a> is a consultancy firm that supports housing associations and public authorities in addressing financial and real estate challenges.
